Two Chinese carved bamboo wrist rests 竹雕臂搁两件
Shaoxi mark 少溪款

The larger one with carved inscription "Qinglianjushi", the nickname of poet Li Bai, depicting a scholar and an attendant among landscapes; the other depicting scholars among mountains and pine trees, both rests of rich amber tone and inscription made in jiachen year, ink calligraphy "dao" to the back.

H: 11 3/4 in.; 11 1/2 in.
