Note

The present work depicts a characteristic view of the entrance of Polperro Harbour, a small fishing village in Cornwall, southwest England. To the left is the Outer Quay while across is The Duke of Cornwall Pier. Snell visited the site regularly from 1903-1914.

We wish to thank Mr. David Tovey, art historian and author of Polperro - Cornwall's Forgotten Art Centre, for his kind assistance in cataloguing the present work.
