Clement Biddle's personal copy of Pennsylvania session laws, from the first sitting of the sixth session, in 1781 through the third sitting of the ninth session, in 1785.

James Tate was a surgeon in the 3rd Pennsylvania Regiment and was present alongside Clement Biddle in the Battles of Brandywine, Germantown, and Monmouth. At the time Biddle served as George Washington's Commissary General, a position he held from 1777-80.
