Of architectural form and in two sections, the tiered top with baluster gallery, one single short drawer and two drawers to the sides, above long frieze drawer, and two panelled cupboard doors flanked by two full porcelain columns, opening to a long drawer over a secret four-sided rotating unit comprising a bank of three drawers, four figures emblematic of the seasons set into niches on another side, on the remaining sides a coat of arms of Saxony and a mirror, with two full floral-encrusted columns between, the lower section with porcelain inset sliding section above frieze drawer, above two panelled cupboard doors interspersed with three full columns, raised on plinth base with porcelain bun feet.

The cabinet is inset all over with exquisitely painted porcelain plaques that are variously painted to show landscapes, portraits, seascapes, floral still lifes and genre scenes derived from paintings by Teniers, Frans de Paula Ferg, Vernet, Nicolas de Largillière and others.
