2 vols. 12mo, early to mid 19th century, 3/4 brown morocco and marbled boards, gilt-lettered spine, t.e.g.; joints and extremities rubbed. Scattered, occasional lightly moderate foxing, very occasional dust smudging and unobtrusive dampstaining in margins. Light foxing to title pages, fore and bottom edges of vol.1 title page a little chipped, dampstain at bottom 2 inches of vol. 1 title page, extending about an inch from the gutter, gutter of vol.1 title page repaired by adhered narrow extension of the 19th century front free end paper. With ink presentation inscription to Dr. Scandella, dated 1798 at head of vol. 1 title page. Leaf size: 6 7/8 x 4 1/8 inches; 175 x 106 mm, fore and bottom edges untrimmed (or possibly rough cut, leaving wide margins). Pagination: (I) - vi, (1) - 227, (228); (I) - vi, (1) - 384. Without the front blanks called for by Church, otherwise collated complete. In custom brown cloth fall-down box.
