Note

In The Flagellation of Christ, the right side figure is identical in composition to the one appearing in a painting of the same subject by Giovan Battista Tinti (Parma, 1558-1604) in the Gallerie Nazionale di Parma. In The Mocking of Christ, the figures and composition are both almost exactly identical to an engraving by Bartolomeo Coriolano (Bologna, circa 1590-1676) after a painting of the same subject by Ludovico Carracci in the Pinacoteca Nazionale di Bologna.
