A Chinese carved jade oval plaque with a figure of Liu Hai in a landscape 松下童子白玉牌饰
18th / 19th century 十八或十九世纪

Likely a ruyi scepter element, depicting the deity holding a string of coins over his shoulder, standing amidst rockwork under a pine tree, with clouds surrounding mountains, a descending bat at the top; concave underside unpolished with two drilled holes, the stone of greyish-white with patches of russet; brocade box.
