An exceptional pair of Louis XVI style gilt bronze mounted agate and bloodstone covered urns
second half 19th century

The domed cover surmounted by a finely cast acanthus wreath, the body mounted with espagnolettes joined by drapery swags, the socle encircled by laurel and beaded border below, raised on a square bloodstone pedestal with canted corners and acanthus band, on conforming wood base. (2).
