A Chinese creamy-white jade carving of a bear 白玉雕熊
Qing dynasty or earlier 清或更早

The seated figure shown scratching its right ear, mouth opened showing teeth, the body with fine lines defining ruff and edges of the forelegs, a small tail from the back extended to the underside, with later wood stand, associated cloth box.
