Braided gold chain with threaded flower and circular enamel beads, suspending a fringe of lozenge-shaped alternating with amphorae of molded decoration, maker's mark, with accompanying case from Dreicer & Co. New York.

Dreicer & Co. during the first quarter of the 20th century, was considered to be among the top luxury jewelers in the US. Believed to have originated as J. Dreicer & Son representing the Parisian firm A. Eknayan and for a number of years was a close retail rival of Cartier. Sadly, the shop was liquidated in 1923 following the death of Michael Dreicer, the founder’s son. Later the jewels remaining from the shop were subsequently sold to Cartier by way of private sale.
