A large Chinese carved wood openwork ruyi scepter 镂空木雕如意

Carved in intricate openwork with a sage in a pine grove under the moon, a descending bat bearing a peach spray, additional descending bats with endless knot and a chime to head and base, the body with prunus blossoms; silk double tassel with elaborate knots, all in a later acrylic shadowbox mount.
