With shaped serpentine crest-rail with protruding 'teardrop' ends, over a serpentine splat pierced with a ruyi-head motif; curved stiles; the serpentine arms with protruding "teardrop" hand-rests, over angled serpentine supports; wood-paneled rectangular seat; all over legs of circular section; shaped brackets, the front brackets with molded edge; staggered box stretcher, the heavy, dense timber of a deep reddish-brown.

H: 41 3/4 in.; W: 24 1/2 in.; D: 22 in.
